Koritsi Komma Records (Party Girl Records in Greek) is the realization of a lifelong vision of Sappho, aka Megan Andricos. As an impressionable and young PNW raver in 1995, Andricos saw the seismically feminist film Party Girl, which synthesized her love for nightlife culture, music and the library world. With nearly three decades of experience as a DJ, party promoter and an information sciences worker / volunteer, Andricos started KKR to be a label that exists to elevate club culture through music, events and media. KKR is a queer run, electronic focused label based out of Portland Oregon. It's main aim is to raise the visibility of queer party music in the Pacific Northwest and abroad.
